  Polypropylene - PP
Polypropylene foam is a tough, resilient, and lightweight closed cell material. This material is also used to absorb shock energy. PP is moisture and chemical resistant and can be used across a wide range of temperatures. We commonly use Polypropylene for cushion packaging, and dunnage applications (blocking and bracing) as well as numerous other applications.

Polyurethane - PU
A polyurethane, commonly abbreviated PU, is any polymer consisting of a chain of organic units joined by urethane (carbamate) links. Polyurethane polymers are formed by reacting a monomer containing at least two isocyanate functional groups with another monomer containing at least two alcohol groups in the presence of a catalyst.

Polyurethane formulations cover an extremely wide range of stiffness, hardness, and densities. These materials include:

1) Low density flexible foam used in upholstery and bedding,
2) Low density rigid foam used for thermal insulation and e.g. automobile
3) Soft solid elastomers used for gel pads and print rollers, and
4) Hard solid plastics used as electronic instrument bezels and structural parts.

Polyethylene - PE
Polyethylene is buoyant, making it popular for nautical uses. Other uses for polyethylene are for furniture wrapping, computer components, electronics, sporting goods, plants, frozen foods, clothing, glass products, signs, metal products, and more. It comes in forms designed to minimize static or maximize thermal insulation, among dozens of other variants. The material is impervious to bacteria and mold and is tear-resistant. Polyethylene is among the cheapest of artificially fabricated materials, but not as cheap as most raw materials, as the polymerization process consumes energy. In addition, distribution costs are normal because polyethylene cannot be compressed much for shipping.
  Expanded Polystyrene – EPS
Expanded Polystryene, EPS, is a lightweight closed cell foam. EPS is a wonderful packaging alternative suitable for a variety of packaging needs. Because EPS is structurally sound yet lightweight, it provides extremely effective impact resistant cushioning in a variety of forms (box liners, corner protectors, pads, etc.) without the add weight, and therefore added shipping costs.
